Cincinnati, Ohio – February 13, 2019
The Urology Group was recently designated a Center of Excellence by the National Association for Continence by Steven G Gregg, Executive Director at NAFC.
The National Association For Continence (NAFC) is pleased to recognize The Urology Group’s dedication to serving the best interests of patients challenged by urologic conditions. The Center of Excellence (COE) designation was largely driven by the achievements in treating urological issues by Dr. Gary Kirsh, president of The Urology Group, and Dr. Rebecca Roedersheimer. Their achievements in delivering quality care is reflected in high levels of patient satisfaction. Patients are looking for quality care that includes treating difficult and embarrassing urologic conditions and The Urology Group has found a way to set the standard in quality care.
The Urology Group is one of the largest single specialty groups of urologists in the United States, with more than 30 board-certified urologists and 11 offices, including a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center in Norwood.
“We could not be more pleased to have received this recognition from NAFC,” said Dr. Kirsh, president of The Urology Group. “It simply proves that we are on track in our ability to deliver the best in urologic care. This will encourage our physicians and staff to work even harder in supporting and treating patients.”
While their main emphasis is on direct patient care, they also participate in clinical research related to urologic problems and enjoy a teaching relationship with the urology residents of the University of Cincinnati Medical School. In 2016, The Urology Group celebrated its 20th anniversary of providing care to patients in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
NAFC’s Centers of Excellence (COE) program was established to recognize centers and facilities that excel in providing bladder and bowel health care to patients, and to assist patients dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence issues in their search for an expert.
