Dr. Brooke Edwards Named to Healthcare Leadership Award Class of 2017

CINCINNATI (June 27, 2017) – The editorial team at Venue Magazine has selected Dr. Brooke Edwards, chief medical officer of Norwood-based The Urology Group, as a recipient of The Comprehensive Healthcare Leadership Award Class of 2017.
The Comprehensive Healthcare Leadership Awards honor the region’s leading healthcare professionals who strive to improve, not only the everyday lives of their patients and colleagues, but their communities as well. The criteria for the Comprehensive Healthcare Award is based on the individual’s invaluable contributions to his/her organization and our region as well as personal leadership characteristics that cultivate a thriving and progressive community.

Dr. Edwards plays a pivotal role in providing medical oversight, expertise and leadership to ensure the continued delivery of advanced urological care in the Tristate. Dr. Edwards specializes in robotic surgery of the kidney, urethral reconstruction and treatment of incontinence, genitourinary cancer and erectile dysfunction. Additionally, she strives to find ways to educate the public on the need for proper healthcare screenings and regularly provides those services at community events.
Dr. Edwards and the other award recipients will be honored today at a luncheon at The Oasis Golf Club and Conference Center in Loveland.
