No Place Like Home

January 23, 2014

Having been born and raised here, I know that for true Cincinnatians the first question after introductions is, “Where did you go to school?” In my case, I attended St. Xavier High School in Finneytown, followed by undergraduate education at Miami University in Oxford.  I completed my medical school and residency training at the University of Cincinnati. In fact I like Ohio so much I chose to complete a fellowship in robotic surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

After my formal training, and in true Cincinnati fashion, I returned home – to start a career with The Urology Group. In my estimation, this group offers premier urological care in the Tristate area and was the natural choice for me. By becoming part of the largest urology group in the region, I plan to continue contributing to the level of excellence that my new colleagues have already established.

I am interested in robotic surgery, especially as it relates to urologic oncology and minimally invasive repair of abnormal anatomy. ‘m looking forward to being able to use my skills and get to know patients in the Fairfield, Springdale and West Chester areas.

It’s great to be home — both personally and professionally. I appreciate the warm welcome I’ve received as I begin establishing myself in this new position.
