Meet The Urology Group / Executive Leadership / Earl L. Walz /

Earl Walz serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Urology Group and brings decades of operational experience in both the business and clinical aspects of health care. Prior to being appointed CEO, he served as Chief Operating Officer for The Urology Group. A Certified Medical Practice Executive, Earl sits on several corporate and government medical advisory boards and is a co-founder of the Large Urology Group Practice Association.

Before joining The Urology Group, Earl was Chief Operating Officer of the Urology Specialists, a practice of six physicians. Earlier he served as Chief Administrative Consultant at the Northern Kentucky Multi Specialty Practice, with 52 physicians, and as Chief Operating Officer of the Hoxworth Blood Center, in Cincinnati.

Earl has given numerous presentations across the country about best practices in health care, and his abstracts have been published nationally as well. He has served as a reviewer for a national health care journal.


Earl earned his master’s degree in business administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. He received a bachelor of science degree from the Northern Kentucky University.

Memberships and Certifications

Earl sits on the board of directors of the Large Urology Group Practice Association, where he is treasurer. He also serves on the Procter & Gamble Medical Advisory Committee, the Xavier University Williams College of Business Entrepreneurial Center Board and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Board. He has earned Six Sigma Black Belt Certification in technology management and is accredited with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
